| The OP's rant: broke my tranny again, WOT shift drag racing? That's like a man stepping out of a building and flaps his arms like a bird, before hitting the pavement, he said 'Gee why doesn't it work?" Well, what did you expect? Yeah, I did spend alot of money on my car years ago. But now I found better, more useful ways to spend money than blowing motors, trannies... I don't need to have the highest dyno number or get cheered on while going down drag strip in front of a group of teenagers to feel good about it. If I had to do it again, I'd make it all around realiable car, not a freaking garage lift queen. The moral of the story? Learn from your mistakes. Showing off is BS. BTW, full throttle shifting should be done with a device that:
1. set a lower rev limit during full throttle shift
2. retard timing
3. enrich fuel
